My name is Jennifer Murphy. I’ve always had a huge interest in animals. I’ve achieved multiple qualifications related to animals over the years. I’m qualified as a horse riding instructor, I have veterinary experience and a degree in zoology (this was all before I entered the world of grooming).
After my degree from university of Glasgow I decided to change my path and focus on my passion for dogs. Having dogs all my life I had huge compassion towards them. I believe every experience they have should be a positive one therefore I thrive on making every grooming session an enjoyable one.
After returning from Glasgow I took on an internship with Le mutt as a day care assistant. From there I went on to work for Muttugly as a washer prepped for 8 months. Here is where I learnt a lot about the health care of dogs and how to perform multiple health checks to ensure the dog is happy and healthy. I learnt about all different breeds, dog behavior and the correct way to handle different dogs. All to ensure a positive experience. All whilst learning what shampoos or products work best on different coat types or skin conditions to ensure your dog doesn’t have a reaction and to ensure the coat is really clean.
